Atogake Sosu-Yakisoba
(fried noodle)

This is a unique fried noodle shop. They serve soft noodles fried with cabbage and chicken, which you can season with the sauce of your choice.

There are two bottles of sauce on each table. A little more sauce than you think is enough will be just the right amount. The savory smell of fried chicken makes it delicious.

Their noodles sell out quick, so make sure to go there early.

Atagoshita Yokan
(confectioner)

This is a specialty store for yokan. It has been in business for more than a hundred years. Step through the noren (shop curtain) and open the sliding door to enter this traditional Japanese shop.

Yokan is a traditional Japanese sweet made from an (sweet bean paste). They make the sweet in a traditional manner without using artificial additives. There are four flavors of yokan for sale here: azuki bean, Japanese chestnut, white kidney, bean and uji-cha (green tea). The “Mix” set with all four flavors is a must-buy!
