Tempura

A Japanese food, tempura is vegetables and fish fried with oil. It is popular among foreigners. You should eat ones that are freshly-fried. Its light and crunchy texture is the best. You can either put it in a soup called “tentsuyu” or eat it with salt. If you put tempura on a bowl of rice, it is called tendon.
